May Flowers

People love chickens that are “vegetarian fed.” Here’s why that’s bad for the birds.

May flowers always line your path and sunshine light your day. May songbirds serenade you every step along the way. May a rainbow run beside you in a sky that's always blue. And may happiness fill your heart each day your whole life through.

A Wedding in the Dominican Republic

On April 10th 2015 on Cabarete Beach, Dominica Republic my niece Lindsay Fiddler married Nicholas Vasquez.

After graduating from Coastal Carolina University Lindsay travelled for a while, taught school in Cadiz, Spain and ultimately wound up in South Florida where she met Nicholas. For more on Lindsay's past adventures, check out "The Rooster" edition of Tuesday, May 3, 2011.

Eventually these two youngsters would become an item as they say, and started dating. Nick's job would eventually mean a move to Seattle, WA and Lindsay would tag along. What a wonderful place for two people to set off on their life together. Congratulations to an exquisite couple.

Where in the USA is JB?

As this goes to press Jeff is in Oklahoma City, OK after a trip across country alone in his P/U truck. I was supposed to join him on this adventure but some things came up causing him to go it alone. We did have a few great stopping points picked out along the way. That would be Ribs and other manly foods as well as a Brew Pub or two along the way. One I was really looking forward to was in Springfield, MO.

So rumor has it that once in Springfield Jeff was going to hit some of the places we were going to check out. The below picture is of Jeff and the owner of Mother's Brewing Company. Jeff, being the responsible adult that he is, fed the economy of a local Taxi company for transportation.

Health and Welfare

I got to speak to Andy Farley yesterday. Andy is home as of this writing and sounded really good and upbeat. He hasn’t started rehab (PT)  on the left shoulder that was operated on as yet. From Andy’s description it was quite a complex procedure.

Andy stated he has a lovely Dutch nurse taking care of all his needs. God bless you Rika.
